Unhappiness.
this one was complex to create. i wanted it on one hand to look whimsical, fun, light like Alice is floating in the air and in the other to heavily show that something is wrong and her guilt. generally i wanted it to look "simple".

I wanted to base the light like in a Rembrandt painting. Creating an undefined circular light around Alice, making her besides the focal point but the martyr and "saint" of the image. I thought yhis can work well with the scene of begging.

I love Norman Felchle's work, when i colored these two in, i wanted tp keep his linework and instead of going comic to go more traditional ink/water colors. I swear if i'd photoshopped this into a table with pencils this would of looked real
