And finally, Beedrill! I think we’ve all gotten too comfortable with Beedrill as a design. Really look at it and appreciate how weird it is! Mouthless, slightly anthropomorphic, strange little insectoid shoe feet, and DRILLS FOR HANDS. What the heck. It’s gnarly! 8.5/10
Pokémon Reviews: Caterpie to Beedrill
Caterpie is just about perfect, it’s an excellent translation of a swallowtail caterpillar into the series’ signature style. Definitely one of the cutest Pokémon, and still the face of the Bug-Type for me. 9/10
