It seems that ratings for Alita on the FX Channel for yesterday & today were fairly high since the sales rank of Alita reg blurays on Amazon has shot way up. The reg blurays have averaged a ranking of about 8200 but starting yesterday they shot up to 439 & today averaged 533.

The Numbers has updated March 7 2021 bluray sales & nothing was reported for Alita. As of March 7 2021 Alita is estimated to have sold 400 blurays in the US & to have estimated worldwide profits of about $72.3 million, a 22% return on investment.

The Numbers just updated Feb 7th bluray sales & had nothing to report on Alita. As of Feb 7th Alita is estimated to have sold about 600 blurays in the U S & to have worldwide profits of $71 million. That profit estimate is a low estimate, probably low by $20 million.

Late to the party, but picked up the Batman Animated BluRays finally. Way way better than advertised. I can't believe how good this show looks for its age. Dunno where it's streaming now but it's worth seeking out the high def versions.

Alita blurays have been out of stock at Amazon for 187 days now (Amazon has been selling through 3rd party sellers) but a notice says Amazon will be having Alita blurays in stock on March 16th. With Alita beginning to appear on Disney+ Star, Alita bluray sales should increase.

Good news & bad news. Walmart has the Alita blurays in stock & is selling the Alita reg bluray at $9.96, so Walmart sales of Alita should be strong. Best Buy is also discounting Alita & has the blurays in stock. Amazon is out of stock & high-priced, so Amazon sales will be low

It isn't important whether Amazon sells Alita blurays or if 3rd party sellers sell them. The problem is that 3rd party sellers usually charge more for blurays, reducing sales. A portion of shoppers on Amazon won't buy an Alita bluray if it is sold by a 3rd party.
