Elden Ring has this cozy vibe sometimes that’s hard to put into words, and other Souls games too. I think it’s the ambient sound like the bonfires and the slow music compositions etc.

Am I insane, or does anyone feel this ever?

In Norse mythology the sun is a wheel that changes the seasons & it was from the name of this wheel, houl, that the word yule came. At the mid-winter solstice they would light bonfires, tell stories, drink ale & generally make merry.

🎃SPOOKY FACT OF THE DAY🎃

The association of the colors black and orange with Halloween dates back to the Celts! Black not only represented the coming darkness of winter, but also death. Orange represents fall, as well as the color of the Celts' falltime bonfires!

tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
I like the idea of befriend rather than ward them off; they seem much more friendly than human beings to me.
