Preparatory art for MY LAST SUMMER WITH CASS. While I liked the idea of starting the story when Megan and Cass were still toddlers, I eventually realized that I needed them old enough to have at least semi-clear memories of events from that time. So I made them slightly older.

I remember someone's fan theory when it turned out Steph was alive that the "Steph" Cass imagined near the end of her Batgirl run was actually Death taking that form to be more comfortable for Cass. It just makes so much more sense when you think about it. 🤔😮

As SDCC starts, it has been 929 days since McFarlane acquired the DC license for action figures and still has not made a Cass. I'm still waiting. Anyday now...

It is 917 days since McFarlane acquired the DC license for action figures and has not made a Cass. I'm still counting and waiting.
For the two-issue arcs it would be exactly like Puckett/Scott with it tying into a larger narrative. The villains of these little arcs be Batman villains I think would pair well with Cass. Firefly (Bridget Pike), Zsasz, the Ventriloquist/Scarface, and of course Lord Death Man.
