the relationship between laura and remy in this comic is something really special, it should be a must-read for fans of both of these characters.
Belle's introduction and characterization felt very contrived and odd to me. Sonic acted very out of character with a sentient robot he just met. Compare their first meeting so Sonic and Emerl's first meeting. Sonic doesn't have a personal bias against robots.

i hate how much mischaracterization rui has gone through in this fandom. he's not a creep and he's not cruel. he is SUCH a sweetheart. he eats toya's radioactive waste cupcakes and still manages to smile and tries so so so so hard to be nice about it and not hurt toya's feelings
