When I first made sprites for Snowlow and Homilow, I was a beginner at pixel art. Making sprites could feel like a chore. So I decided it could just be a 2 stage family.
But I no longer felt satisfied with that, so I finally made a sprite for Abolow!
It’s sucked the therapy from the art. Killed the vibe for our neurodiverse selves. The emotional release&security we feel when we create is not there anymore cuz your forced to create for others. Its not writers block it I dont give a fuck cuz it doesnt help anymore it’s a chore.

@kenny_jpg13 Did this without lineart and the sketch wasn't the best, especially the hands. But there was nothing rendering could not fix. I used to do a lot of lineart when I first started out, but it always felt like a chore. Pretty happy with where I am now. Not everyone's cup of tea tho!

@NawaminSiam yeah, those were the grindiest ones. with the decorations, at least near end game, if you're lucky a good amount of them were probably picked up, but getting the rest from lesser key dungeons was such a chore. the last 3 magic spells required 100 rooms of the underground dungeon
