12. Hmm. I don't really see the trainers as having major personalities on their own, outside of the gender you don't pick becoming your rival. So this is tricky.

I'd PROBABLY say Gold/Ethan, just because that gen does mean a lot to me, and he's usually shown with Cyndaquil.
