Day 25: Generation 7

I'll admit, some of my favorites are hot steaming garbage in gameplay and I like them purely for their designs. Mudsdale is one of them.
I super-much like how she came out though. I was not confident when I started on her, but wow.

Day 24: Generation 6

Wanna know how much I love Sylveon?
When I first played X, I scoured Route 10 for about an hour to catch an Eevee, then spent another hour with it in Pokemon-Amie so I could evolve it before I even left Route 10. I wanted a Sylveon THAT BADLY.

Day 23: Generation 5

Between today and tomorrow, we're going into the top 3 now!
With Krookodile's pose and the way its leg markings sort of resemble chaps, I decided a gunslinger look would be perfect. And I made a good call, I think.

Day 22: Generation 4

Remember way back in day 2, when I said there'd be a lot more fire starters coming?
Yeah, we're there. Infernape's one of my top 10 favorite Pokemon, and was my favorite starter of all until recently. Who took its place? We'll find out soon!

Day 21: Generation 3

Here's Breloom! It's very messy since I inked the wrong layer like a doofus, which is a darn shame because I consider this some of my best lineart to date, but hey, enjoy!

Day 18: Fairy-type

The last of the type-specific prompts! I decided Wigglytuff is part of an idol duo with Raichu. Makes sense, seeing how Sing is the move usually associated with her.

Day 17: Steel-type

This one was a challenge - both in terms of design and in terms of actually drawing it. I needed a balance between looking discernably like a human female while still staying faithful to Genesect's original design, and I think I did alright.

Day 16: Dark-type

Pangoro is here to say, DON'T BULLY.

1 3

Day 15: Ghost-type

I had some help coming up with ideas for this one, but I really like how Chandelure came out!

1 1

Day 14: Dragon-type

Dragon-types are too much work for casual scum like myself, so I picked my favorite mostly by design. I like Hydreigon and how its two extra heads are like cute li'l hand puppets.

1 1

Day 13: Bug-type

Butterfree is another Pokemon that's sentimental to me, being the MVP of my very first Nuzlocke run. Despite the simplicity of its moveset, I could always rely on the little scamp to keep my team alive. (Plus, Butterfree is as cute as a bug!)

Day 11: Rock-type

There aren't really that many Rock-types that I like, but I do like Lycanroc! I'm partial to True Form Lycanroc, not Edgy Form or Pallete Swap Form.

Day 10: Psychic-type

ALAKAZAM, YEAH.
I swear the next one won't be from gen 1.

1 1

Day 9: Ground-type

What other way to go with a Sandslash gijinka than to make her a female version of Wolverine, bub?

1 1

Day 8: Electric-type

Raichu is so underrated and deserves more time outside Pikachu's shadow.
I went for an idol look, an idea I admittedly took from @/takeshimaxfj's Raichu. (Go check out their work, they're one of my favorite Pokemon gijinka artists!)

Day 7: Poison-type

As much as I love Vileplume, its design is a bit simplistic, so I didn't really have much to work with. I can't say I'm unsatisfied with what I accomplished, though!

1 1

Day 6: Grass-type

I love Gogoat, but was torn on how to go about drawing her. So I started with no real direction, but as I went, I just sort of started drifting toward an "Egyptian queen" look and decided to totally roll with it.

Day 5: Flying-type

Everyone knows owls are nerds. Noctowl is a superhero nerd!

1 2

Day 3: Fighting-type

Machamp is one of those Pokemon I'm sentimental about. My Machoke was one of my strongest allies in my Silver Nuzlocke run, and it was a sad day when I lost her in the great Dragonite Massacre of '12.

Here's to you, Athena, wherever you are.

Day 2: Fire-type
You're gonna see a lot of Fire starters from me, because I pick fire almost every generation. But let's start with Delphox!
