I booted up this on the emulator, wanting to see what all the hype was about with its cult following.

At first i dogged on it for its controls and how it was difficult to steer, but i realize i was playing it wrong. Then everything *clicked* and i cant get enough of it now. https://t.co/JktParlHzB

At tea-time Dave was rather quiet.
In the bath he was even quieter.
At bed-time he said:
‘I want Dogger.’
But Dogger was nowhere to be found.

This week we will be returning to the pages of Dogger. First published in 1977, these pages with Shirley’s special letter, are taken from the 40th anniversary edition.

Once there was a soft brown toy called Dogger. One of his ears pointed upwards and the other flopped over.

Dogger’s Christmas was published in 2020. Dedicated to her children Ed, Tom and Clara, it was Shirley’s final book. Shirley was thrilled by the response to the story.
