5/22 In highschool, I discovered Giger and I resonated with his work like never before. I started creating Giger-inspired pieces in ballpoint pen on shiny paper.

❌This, too, was deemed bad by my teachers. Anything but charcoal or pencil on paper "ruined my draftsmanship".

I am not used to color, because in essence I am a good draftsman with a small skill as a painter. The draftsman is limited in every sense, and the painter in only one. Therefore, the draftsman seems to be more free.
