The gameplay in MGR is satisfying and rockin'. The fast and frantic action flows pretty well with the zandatsu and blade mode techniques, and once nailed, the parries are incredible to pull off.
You also collect different weapons from each Boss which opens up more-

Best Gameplay:

Bioware gets an honourary mention here because I binged the heck out of those. But I forever champion point and clicks because they diversified the genre hugely. Puzzles are smart, unique, stories too. They're super hard to put down.
