Hi guys I'm alive I swear! Just a bit busy and tired. As penance here's a random Megara from Hercules. Also a chibi. She's my favorite 😅💕
More art this weekend!!
Day 17: #PrideOfKrakoa JAMES HOWLETT aka WOLVERINE!!!
…no seriously. Wolverine.
…well it’s the Wolverine from Earth-12025 where he has a relationship with Hercules. So…deal with it. #Pride #Pride2022 #LoveIsLove
I’m having a hard time believing that today is the 25th anniversary of Hercules. I’m so glad all this time later it’s getting the love it deserves. Here are some throwbacks to one of my WonderGround paintings featuring the Muses. The constellations up top are of Pegasus and Herc https://t.co/pa94DOtaUs
🏛🏺🌿With smart comedy, unique art style, a banger soundtrack, dynamic characters including the ever-energetic villain Hades, and the unmistakable qualities of directing duo Ron Clements and Jon Musker, this is the day to honor 25 years of Disney’s #Hercules.
#HappyAnniversary
Redesign my Flaming Fox superhero alter ego, The Flaming Hercules.
Wait NO. I changed my mind. He should be Hercules. Incredibly Strong, even more Dumb, massive Camp Counselor Energy, will sleep with literally anyone. And will have a massive Dad shaped chip on his shoulder when Zeus gets deleted by Gorr.
@hedgehogvampir1 @RManta82 You should totally read Incredible Hercules. It’s co-written by Pak and Van Lente, and is one of the more under appreciated Marvel runs. The Secret Invasion “God Squad” arc is easily one of the best event tie-ins ever
I remember having my mind completely blown when I first found out that Gerald Scarfe was the main character designer for disney's Hercules. You never realise how much the film looks like his art style until you see drawings of the characters he did himself
84. Hercules. The world's first superhero that became washed up and a laughingstock to other superheroes that has managed to turn his life around. He's entertaining in Pak's Incredible Hercules and his growth in Abnett's Hercules, Avengers No Road Home and Ewing's GotG is great
En el #ClashOfTitans del domingo pasado tuvimos un enfrentamiento de fuerza bruta: #Ares contra #Hercules. Así fue el resultado con sus votos:
#funfact Hercules, Samson, Goliath, Ursus, Son of Hercules... No, it's mostly MACISTE. Maciste's name in the original Italian films was usually altered to an entirely different name in the American titles. https://t.co/CoJ6A51WCm
Para este domingo, el #ClashOfTitans pone en combate mano a mano a dos poderosos personajes de Marvel: #Ares contra #Hercules. ¿Quién gana? (Vota siguiendo el hilo)
@TonyMoney_CCN @Ron_Christian55 Nope, Originally Ian Bohen was picked for the role as Young Hercules.
When he backed out after the pilot movie they cast Ryan Gosling and retconned the movie plot into the show.
Worse part is, I feel like I’m culturally appropriating. I never thought of it that way, I always wanted A character on my team from an actual mythology, like Thor or Hercules. There was a comic called Xin from years ago that made me a fan of the mythos.
Henry IV had a portrait of himself painted dressed like Hercules. This is essentially the world’s first cosplay
That time I drew @TheRock for Train Magazine in ’14 to promote Hercules.
Contrary to wildly popular belief, he did not come to my home to pose. Nor did we eat sandwiches together. But hey, there’s always Hercules 2. #DwayneJohnson #fitness #bodybuilding
Give me the vintage art. I like when the heroes look like normal people. The new art looks goofy. Every dwarf looks like a mini Hercules. Armor and weapons are exaggerated. Its a cartoon, no realism. No thanks.
