Hippolyta begging the gods to bring life to Diana’s clay body is an infinitely better and more loving origin for Wonder Woman than her just being one of Zeus’s bastard children. 💫

What would __________ do?

If had a chance to save the Waynes, he would.
And then bawl his eyes out afterward.

If could've saved Hippolyta, she would have.

Barry Allen changed time to save his mom.

But Clark...not so much.

Was reading Part 4 of “The Gods War” again for War God Squad content and was pleasantly surprised by—*gasp*—yet another Post Crisis mention of Ares being Hippolyta’s father!!

Concept art for Quetzalcoatl, the largest and oldest of the dragons in Hippolyta. He'll play an important role in the events of the game's prologue.

We all know Dinah Drake didn’t walk the straight and narrow, especially not around Hippolyta https://t.co/HeTUkjSLtY

Justice League:
Paradise Lost.

And the ending is one of the most bogue
I've ever seen,
with Hippolyta banishing Diana because
she brought men to the island.

DIANA RISKED EVERYTHING TO SAVE YOU MEDUSA'D AMAZONS BUT YEAH OKAY WHATEVER

Eyala's concept art vs. some of her in-game sprites. Eyala wears an outfit inspired by the Amazon warriors of Hippolyta who she looked up to as a child.

Circe clearly forgetting that both Hippolyta and Diana have Ares’ blood

It was!! The Demon’s world played very off Diana’s and the enmity between her and Darkseid gets resolved well by Jimenez later!
There’s also a good story with cheetah and a lot of good hippolyta in it!
Of course I am very biased because it’s the run that did this:

Her assuming Wonder Woman is Hippolyta… she’s just like me

What I’ve read of the Phil Jimenez Wonder Woman run is just top tier! The Paradise Island Lost story is everything Trial of the Amazons should have been!
Wonder Woman 170 is untouchable, and Hippolyta’s death is really well done- even if it was editorially mandated

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see Hippolyta as anything other than a lesbian

I mean the proof is right here:

I really want to want to see how Phil Jimenez was planning to have them resolve their differences before the editorial mandate of Hippolyta’s death
