However, it has been an interesting experiment with Krita! ^ v ^ I learned a lot about filter masks, indexed painting, and got to apply all of my prior experience with digital painting into pixel art

It's still faster to directly shade in pixel art, but this method has its uses!

The map was originally 1024x1024, but I sized it down to 256 and indexed the palette to 32 colors for extra cronch. Makes her look a bit more like a character in an early-00's PC game

update on my @fx_hash_ project. I think it is project 333 or 332 (depending on 1 or 0 indexing), and it looks like up to 310 has been indexed on the site. This suggests to me that it won't be available on the website till tomorrow!

カラーモードをindexedにしてたのが原因だった
RGBにしたらopacityもレイヤーのoverlayとかも反映して出力できるようになった

Okay, I figured out I can stop my Profile Pic from glitching out if I just save it as a full-color PNG. I guess Android no longer supports 256 Indexed Color? Which is a shame because they're so tiny...

Anyway, potentially android-glitchy one preserved here for posterity.

Playing around with aseprite indexed palettes, I made one that turns the game sprites into the minicomic black & white aesthetic

Belle is the painter girl. This is her self portrait. Messed with lower resolutions and indexed color to make it look as bit crushed as something you may see on a ps1.
