I'm quite proud of my Ichthyovenator & Oxalaia reconstructions. But I think when I find time I'm gonna redo them (yes, again!) for my planned size chart. My style has changed since then & I'd like to simplify things by not drawing scales that will hardly be visible in full view.

The new skeletal looks sweet! Ichthyovenator's tail shape would make a lot more sense with this interpretation, though its holotype still lacks many caudals so even that's not certain at the moment. I wonder how extensive the "paddle" might have been compared to Spinosaurus...

Since 2014 I've never drawn Spino with anything but the m-shaped/rectangular sail, so now seemed like an appropriate time to start exploring different options, starting with the possibility of an Ichthyovenator-like double sail.

Finished life reconstruction of laosensis for its article! Based on my updated skeletal diagram. Took a lot of time and research but the final result was definitely worth it.
