Gull frenzy on this morning, beautiful light but challenging wind & waves. Pick of the bunch was this 3CY Mediterranean Gull, plus one of 2019's ringed juv Common Gulls back again

Berry Hd 1520-1620. Arrived to catch dramatic 180 deg shift in the wind (SSW-NNE) - doesn't happen often! Very few birds on the clearance: Pomarine Skua juv, 2 Bonxies, Arctic Skua ad and a distant skua sp. This Little Auk was just off the platform but vanished when wind changed.

2nd day, an excellent 16 species of raptor through. Marsh Harrier most numerous but a fair few Ospreys (pic) and nice to get 3 Hen Harriers (pic). Cracking pale form Juv Honey (pic) was one smart bird.

Titchwell - Bearded Tits, Whimbrel, 2 summer Golden Plovers, lots of gaudy male Ruffs and Icelandic Blackwits, 2 Spot Red, 2 LRP, 4 Dunlin (first juv of season) and ‘E27’ one of the headstarted limosa Blackwits still outside Island Hide.
