KOTM anniversary post.

Was very conflicted and a bit sour on it at first, while subsequent viewings have been mixed. I find it watchable with some great highlights, but it's fairly awkward at many points too.

I don’t love the plot but I love the ambition

some of the movie posters for Godzilla KOTM went so damn hard.

However, I am a huge KOTM fanboy, and will never stop defending that movie for the rest of time. It turned me from a big-time G-fan into a DIEHARD G-fan, and I regret nothing when it comes to this movie.

Oh sweetie I'm so sorry, but I can only draw Godzilla in this two forms.
Bulky or chonky.

I love the way how some of the Godzilla KotM concept art looks, like some old time painting of an epic battle or war.

People out there who call KOTM the most boring Monsterverse movie are some strange individuals

QRT with most popular drawing!
Apparently this 10 min sketch is The Image Ever™️ to most people bc I drew it right after KOTM came out and got thousands of likes on IG! https://t.co/nhGAwpB8q7

More Godzilla KOTM storyboards. These were for the final showdown in Boston. A little rough around the edges, but I had a lot to bang out :)

Was updating Godzilla Battle Line when I saw THIS.
Literally just KOTM Ghidorah. Even the Kevin meme.

Continuing G2 boards. Here are some more storyboard frame examples from the Antarctic sequence. This was a fun one to do :)

Really cool design but I still don't get how in the ep, the vertebrate paleontologist of the crew saw the loch ness & said "oh yeah, that's a mosasaur". 😂

This show is hella underrated, even among the kaiju community and it boggles my mind. It also used cryptids before KotM.
