Day 7.
i've listen to EVERY ANIME JAP OPENING of the 80's !
to finally choose a french Opening 😭 only cuz i can't find an off vocal of Derringer... and also bc L-Gaim was too hard to make in one hour 😭
8) The Five Star Stories (Movie)
I can feel Mamoru Nagano in this work. Many elements I can see resurfacing from L-Gaim. Its uh, pretty neat. An advertisement of sorts for the manga, and a treat visually. Nice score in places too.
Very Gender.
February 1984 (126 images) There is a lot here alongside all the usual stuff we got some Lupin Part 3, the beginning of the hype in this magazine for Do you Remember Love and soon it will be Time for L-Gaim https://t.co/p0pIcnGKi3
Dragonar holds some significance to me as it was one of my first Sunrise mech shows that caught my eye alongside Layzner, Dunbine, King gainer, L-Gaim, and Brain powerd.
It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel like those did, but it makes up for it in many other aspects
NO FUCKING WAY THEY MADE AN L-GAIM RESIN KIT BASED OFF OF THIS MEME
@MechaPosadist It was a shock to go through L-Gaim and Dunbine to discover that the Zeta's own gimmick was done *twice* prior to its occurence! They really made 3 shows in a row where the second mech's gimmick was to transform/fly
Next time I make a Gundam watch order list im just gonna cross out ZZ in big red marker and put Heavy Metal L-Gaim underneath instead
in the "old stuff I should check out" department in SRW 30, Heavy Metal L-Gaim is looking pretty high up there based off design alone.
Tbh, among all the "old stuff that interests me" in SRW 30, Heavy Metal L-Gaim probably takes the cake.
Seriously, the mecha designs are so cool.
(Note: Not Mine)
I know Romulus Quirinus is meant to be a Saint Seiya Reference mainly, but like his armor's more rounded wing and his position as a "Progenitor" made me think he looks kind of like Auge from FSS and L-Gaim as well.
