The Lusitanian Cownose Ray belong to the eagle ray family, and is sometimes found in the Mediterranean, but more common in the shallow waters along the western coast of Africa.

This is definitely a Throwback Thursday. I remember when I thought this project would end after a few... and now it never ends. So have some original drawings! Olympic, Lusitania, Titanic, and Aquitania the first time I ever drew them! Just Titanic has had her design changed!

#OTD in 1915, the RMS Lusitania was sunk by a German U-boat.
1,198 people were killed, including 128 American citizens.
The sinking of the Lusitania turned political, press and public opinion in the USA against Germany.
The USA eventually declared war on Germany in April 1917.
The Sun #OTD Apr 25 1915 reports that Lusitania arrived from Liverpool with 1108 passengers, no problems during voyage. Also, AD for its ill-fated next voyage

Franquelin is @Shizamura oc that I decided to draw as a big thank you to her
Now read @O_Sarilho to know more about him and future romans and lusitanians (and aliens)
@RushioruS Hmm... perfect. I give you the whole family to decide on if I manage to win. 😂 So here’s Lusitania, Mauretania, and Aquitania. Have fun! 😂
Very late Valentines Day drawings of my oc couple I've drawn for almost 9 years. I have to appreciate how much these 2 warm my hearts. Emily Rose and Lusitania Rose <3 (YES this in fact is the very same Lusitania that was fatally torpedoed in 1915. This is his reincarnation)
Next Outlaw, Lusitania, or 'Lucy' as locals call her. Although confined to a fairly large swamp in Nevada, she is the apex predator. Her main diet consists of humans, and all that venture in her territory will be nothing more than her next meal.
Similar nomenclature was also employed by Mauretania's running mate Lusitania, which was named after the Roman province directly north of Mauretania, across the Strait of Gibraltar in Portugal.
R.M.S. Lusitania and R.M.S. Mauretania are just chilling

Apr 10 1917 War photographer John Warwick Brooke took a picture, IWM Q 6301, of "Lusitania" of the 1st Tank Brigade going forward along a ruined street in Arras. As C47 part of C Bn, 9th Company on Apr 10 1917 it was destroyed by a friendly fire incident
