@27hectormanuel In all seriousness though, Moebius was a Nemo superfan. Here is a piece of art he did of Nemo meeting one of his characters. It was shown in an exhibition where his art was shown alongside that of Hayao Miyazaki.

These movies for me are PEAK Hayao Miyazaki. Ofc there are other recc' like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke(haven't watched it but PTW).
Hayao Miyazaki. I don't really know any artist my age who hasn't in some way been influenced by the filmography of Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke was my very first anime film and it changed the way I think about what you can do with animation.

15. Hayao Miyazaki. His storytelling, expressive artwork, and obsession with realism translated into animation/manga has made him a mentor to me. Whenever I feel down, or blocked artistically, I end up watching one of his films and get inspired to work on my own stories.
