The original character designer for Haruhi cast (Noiji Ito) originally drawn her hair with kinda brown-ish color, personally I also prefer this hair color but her purple colored hair makes her character more unique.

Pako and Itou Noiji also made a fair share of promotional artwork for the cute and sexy ladies in this game, and those look really nice! But unlike the promo art by Tony Taka, there's isn't any bouncy breasts or swimsuits. Hey! It's also nice to be subtle sometimes.
