Another one I should have seen before now. For a movie that starts out looking low budget and poorly constructed, it actually ends up having some awesome concepts and simple yet outstanding practical effects.

Hot Take: The Mummy (2017) is not THAT bad and I wouldn't have minded more films set in the Dark Universe. I mean it's not amazing but it's no worse than the Fast and the Furious films and there's like 50 of those things. Plus Sofia Boutella is hot in it.
