I've moved on to a quick shapey art style, round eyes, thick outlines anything to else to say. I haven't drew more because I'm so lazy.

So to artists that color your outlines...
Do you color them as you go? Like as you draw them?
Do you go back and recolor them after?
Or do you use a clipping mask on your outline layer to color them?

I use a clipping mask. It works well enough

One complaint I get about my artwork is that my outlines are to thick and to dark.

This is an experiment with simply adding color to pencil lines.

I love sketchy outlines but I feel it never looks right when I do it.

I don’t know what my brain does but My outlines on MS paint and my outlines on the program that I actually use to draw look vastly different. Can you guess which was done on MSpaint?
