It's like a combination of exposure and contrast effects. But like... my kids knew it was Black and Blue. They interpreted it as overexposure. I had seen White and Gold for the longest time. Why did I see the shadow? Does personality predict interpretation? Is it age? 🤔

And as a finishing touch, they added a gradient overlay that subtly fades out the image at the top and has the unfortunate effect of overexposing the rest of the image so it looks even more like garbage.
