The characters introduced in PPT1 lacked icons in Champions, but recieved ones for PPT2.
PPPP Trivia:
Both Puyo Puyo Fever games recieved special christmas art, of it’s main protagonists.
While both Amitie and Sig have since gotten christmas themed alts in Quest, Raffina has yet to recieve one herself.
PPPP Trivia:
Pocket Puyo Puyo Sun has cards depicting Jaan, Mandrake, Momomo and Panotty, in a style similar to the board art for the playable cast.
Whether they were planned for either version of Sun or these are just cameos for the sake of it, is unknown.
PPPP Trivia:
In Puyo Puyo Fever, Arle has blue eyes, instead of her usual brown eyes and her armor is green, instead of blue.
This design quirk is unique to Fever and has been reversed in Fever 2 and 15th Anniversary.
PPPP Trivia:
Though SEGA’s games made it a more prominent aspect of his personality, Schezo’s fondness for cute animals has it’s roots in Madou Monogatari.
Lynxes are among his mooks in MM2 and in Tower of the Magician, he recieves Tenori Zoh as his Carbuncle equivalent.
PPPP Trivia:
The Hyperdimension Neptunia series has a Maker (character based on a game company) called 1st-Gen Compa, a human girl, with several Carbuncle and Puyo elements in her design.
PPPP Trivia:
Some supplementary material for Tsu, show a Draco design with smaller wings and shorter hair than her standard Compile design, as well as black pants.
It is possible this particular design was the basis for Draco’s current look.
PPPP Trivia:
In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, Sig’s spirit was shown to have arms, making it a closer visual counterpart to the demon’s spirit in Klug’s book. This visual detail has been dropped in all future games.
PPPP Trivia:
The manual for Madou Monogatari on the Mega Drive, offers a rare glimpse at a grown up Camus and Lala.
In addition to that, Lala would make another appearance, now as a teen, in Madou Monogatari: Final Exam.
