Today I learned from that Del's original Japanese name is Yamato, most likely a reference to the battleship Yamato (especially considering his coloration and... portholes). It's possible the English is also a similar reference to the Deleware-class of US battleships!

Here's the mesh switch to change the window to the original twin-porthole capsule design. This version also lacked the explosive hatch - the same thing that would cause Gus Grissom's capsule to sink due to premature release.

I think I'll be able to do some neat paintjobs..

We only see Rusty's door once, it doesn't have any detailing around it. In Speedkiller both sides of Rusty are seen, but both sides have the porthole window. Rusty often has brass rims to his front and rear windows, but he sometimes appears without and Midlander lacks them.
