this has got to be one of my fave summer art ever, she’s SO well drawn it’s insane… i love the pose being simple but flashy, her hair in the wind + maintaining her og hairstyle with a twist, the body proportions, her sweet facial expression, the swimsuit design… it’s BEAUTIFUL
@Inkhyee I do plumb lining in my work to constantly check proportions. I used to erase them out but ppl told me they liked seeing them because they like seeing how my shorthand on measurements.
Also I’m previously a Watts Atelier student so I include a lot of bastardized Reilly rhythms.

So I've been experimenting with drawing faces recently, while also learning proper facial proportions.

Whenever I need to draw complex objects on characters like Cecilia's gears & violin, it's honestly faster for me to just quickly put together some low poly models and draw over top to get correct proportions and angles. 🤔

I discovered that a huge portion of my followers are western. It was surprising at first, but I do use English A LOT in my works. It gave me the impression some see me as a writer more than an artist.
Basically, I want to engage with a bigger audience, so more art, less writing.
copying instead of learning the basics are also the reason why most """"attempt"""" to emulate "ANIME!!!" art style fails in horrible ways.
They just see through the caricature, not looking that a bunch of "manga eyes/proportion" is just a twisted real life human anatomy--
