@realmbs_ @RevanX_Official @aestheticstatue When did "Greeks" fight her aside from her own Greek brother Ptolemy XIII & sister Arsinoe IV in Egypt?
The whole of Greece had been under Roman rule for almost a century by the time Cleopatra was born in 69 BC. Are you just confusing Hellenistic Greeks with Romans or something?
@CleverSwag21 @Elisabe52245554 @Samar61941114 @archaeologyart That's entirely unproven and there's no evidence for it, only a recent hunch by some modern scholars. For that matter Cleopatra V Tryphaena, the sister-wife of Ptolemy XII Auletes, was still married to him when Cleopatra VII Philopator was born. She looks like both of them:
@zsmith92 @keyawnce3 @getFANDOM @DEADLINE The likelihood that she was born from an incestuous pairing is incredibly high considering we know that her older sister Berenice IV was birthed by Cleopatra V Tryphaena, Greek sister-wife of Ptolemy XII Auletes who was still married to him when Cleopatra VII Philopator was born.
Today’s African character of the day is Seth Ptolemy a.k.a Pharoah from Monster High Boo York, Boo York! He’s Egyptian 🇪🇬
@Payidotemrx @rayarose88 Yes, the Kingdom of Macedon in northern Greece, homeland of Alexander the Great, who founded Alexandria in Egypt, and his general Ptolemy I Soter, who founded Cleopatra's entire dynasty.
@sycarion Nice! I've been thinking about the NMP stuff. Was thinking about reincarnating Brother Ptolemy and the Hidden Kingdom. Or at least the 'creatures' like the Red Monk Arbiter:
The magical girl for tonight is Ptolemy from The FairyLand Story.

A rather exquisite miniature portrait bust of a woman in rhodolite garnet: ca. 3rd Century BC, perhaps representing Queen Berenice II, wife of Ptolemy III Euergetes, but this is not certain. #Egypt #Gem

This innovative tendency was seen early in Ptolemy’s reign and demonstrated by the new elephant-headdress portrait of Alexander that Ptolemy introduced ca. 319 BC.
