Went to see Geral Grant. It was an ice slick climb, but only was bested. Pretty cool a family lived in that hollowed out tree.

part 8... was based on a location near Praire Creek Redwoods that was just covered with white ash and it was beautifully surreal.

Fools Circle, acrylic on 12”diameter panel. Coming to in Dec. for Full Circle, a group showing with new works by Amandalynn. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sempervirens Fund to help bring the coastal redwoods back to health from all the shitty fires.

Mendocino is my childhood home. There’s a little art studio with a window that has a small view of the ocean waiting for me, and I am so excited to return to the home- to wander those beaches and sit under the redwoods again. Hope you’ll follow along, can’t wait!

I photographed this little fairy resting among the ferns many years ago. (2006)

She found Robb beneath the green canopy of leaves, surrounded by tall redwoods and great old elms, kneeling before the heart tree, a slender weirwood with a face more sad than fierce.

What if the trunk doesn't break, but the whole tree falls over? Coast Redwoods can keep on keepin' on by growing new reiterations vertically from the trunk!
