It dawned on me why I'm excited for the art direction of Street Fighter 6. Reminds me of Kinu Nishimura, who drew the characters as people in naturalistic poses, while still emphasizing their skill & strength. Also on the topic; this probably going to be a hot take, but I don't think Green Hand is that great. It's weird thematically (Gief generates energy for one attack?) and I don't even remember it being that good at beating fireballs outside of SF4 EX Green Hand.

Je dis ça mais quand le jeu sortira, à coup sûr son gameplay va pas me plaire et je vais devoir me choisir un autre main genre Ken. :V
Sinon je pourrais tenter de main Juri, c'est celle que je jouais sur SF4.

I'm not talking about graphics, I'm talking about art direction. It was bland and didn't do much to communicate anything of value to the player. Compare Africa in SF3 to Africa in SF4. One is the sum of a lot of deliberate artistic choices, the other is just a bunch of shit.

2009 - street fighter iv

gonna cheat a lil and include the entire SF4 series. i went through a lot of phases with this game. but by the time it was done: i really like SF4 and it's a game i've returned to as recently as this year. it's great
