LONE TRAIL is a very good example to point to when asked about the quality of gacha storytelling. It's a denigration of the military-industrial complex and a paean to dreams even as it suffers from occasional moments of odd writing decisions. 1/11

This gotta be a contender for best show I've ever seen in my LIFE. This mahou shoujo is well presented with its fairytale influences and the storytelling is so unique. The stuff it does with its themes and characters will likely be so influencial to me, it's a must watch.

Sometimes i think to myself, should i do a webtoon? My art style is almost there but.. im bad at storytelling ☹️

Great show, shame it got cancelled. I really got invested into the setting and characters, this show has some really good storytelling, I just nodded along with a shocked expression. I love the collector, wish there was more of him. Eda, Gus and Hunter are the best.

@Woodlandbuckle Compositing is on the beginning of your piece. It's used to think of the composition and the the storytelling of your piece. You got differents types of compo (luma, position etc). The rendering comes at the enf of your drawing when the compo, anatomy and lighting is done.

this series has some of the best storytelling in manga and I'm just here barking at Hercules like an omega in heat

enjoyed this chapter on karashi and how it naturally introduces us to a different type of storytelling. also love how akane is being highlighted through the eyes of her rivals as someone to watch out for–really shows how far she's come

Finished reading CSM : Buddy Stories last night and felt like doing a mini-review!

Due to Fujimoto's utilitarian style of storytelling, we don't get to see the character's in more "mundane" (by CSM standards) situations so it's fun to see more of them outside of the main work🧵
