I finally updated my banner/logo after many years.
You may also noticed the small 'BF' logo on the releases. This means that the model has color textures.
New blender makes this process far easier than before (Still time consuming AF, but far easier to do with the new UV tools)
I love how I went from absolutely HATING skin texture and wanting everything to be as smooth as possible to then falling in love with this:

Took a bit longer to finish Beauty as I had to re-do all the +70 shape keys. To compensate, I made an open variant of the jacket AND all the textures are already baked (in color) like with Momo.
So romantic 😭💞
It was hard to recognize the difference between 2 version just by design, because I added more graphic details to cover the lack of texture in regular version😘
Going from 60 polygons to 600 polygons is a large increase in visual fidelity
But going from 60000 to 600000 barely makes a difference, there are diminishing returns at some point
Texture quality can increase, lighting can improve, but performance is so much more important

compare XP's tileset to VX era or MV
yeah sure xp was desaturated but I think it makes the tileset blends well to the surroundings.
MV and VX era kinda felt garish/bold. I think the more realistic texture it had, the more uncanny it looked with grid/non parallax maps
