In 1459 famous Swordsman & Weapons Master Hans Talhoffer designed a diving suit using a Frogmouth Jousting Helm covered in leather with hose pipe. Made a copy for my Man at Arms Talks years ago. (He also weaponised bucklers! My replica copy has flat spikes 'Health & Safety')

Very mysterious medieval device designed by the equally mysterious of the 15th Century. Believed to be a defensive weapon used to protects castle entrances. Was it ever actually made and used? Was it effective? We will never know.
