Toriyama's Son Goku (Tuxedo) Illustration for '89 Jump Calendar within WSJ No. 3-4 (1988/12/19)
I'm not good at copying Toriyama's style, so I just stick to what I'd do differently when drawing Goku. So I guess it's more of a toony take on him with a more prominent nose and obligatory bedroom eyes. https://t.co/TwHdqFvGlF

Toriyama's Manga Theater. So glad this finally got an English release. Following Toriyama's shorts throughout a sizeable chunk of his career really lets you into his creative process and how that was tweaked over the years.
Going by the beyond final form designs he gave them, I would've assumed Cooler was Toriyama's favorite
@SuperEonHeroes He looks much closer to how SSJ2 Gohan looked in the cell arc that way, which i'm assuming was Toriyama's intention
I can't stop laughing. I love Toriyama's designs in Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 he's such an inspiration

Toriyama's Son Goku illustration for the Japanese Grand Prix poster within WSJ No. 12 (1991/02/26) — Alongside being a bonus in the magazine, it was also an advertisement on trains for the F1 World Championship with our protagonist racing alongside one of the cars
@luigismariano @killakev_8 In fact, his hair is blue in some of Toriyama's illustrations. Also, Bulma's hair is purple in some arts too. It's certainly inconsistent. Toriyama is so forgetful, so it makes sense that he constantly changes the hair color of both.
