People tend to forget that there's literally a scene/page in the first Volume of Wallace telling Scott that him dating Knives is akin to the characters in Trainspotting and that it's a sick thing Scott's doing. Scott's not meant to be rooted for.

Union Station*, Wakefield NH (1912), "Heritage Park Railroad Museum", in great condition for a station you could last catch a train at in 1961. (Union is the name of the village.) Only the sand & gravel train from Ossipee to Boston uses this line now.
