I'm Proud of what I've written for my Ancestral Almanac, but It is the artists I've worked with that are really going to bring this vision to fruition. From top left to bottom right its @/Ulmo8 @/babkitt @/Kalandras_ @/hskachu
Follow them for all the incredible work they do 💚
Love what Ulmo says to Turgon about Gondolin:
“But love not too well the work of thy hands and the devices of thy heart; and remember that the true hope of the Noldor lieth in the West and cometh from the Sea.”

Ulmo en La Última Versión de la Caída de Gondolin.🖤
Its stars again at seven as the famous Star of Fëanor (c. 1954) by #Tolkien meets the same star reproduced in Хранители (1982) before morphing into the star signifying the second of seven swans sent by Ulmo in Tuor Found the Shield by Sergei Iukhimov (1991). More to come...(7/7)
So several years ago I started to illustrate scenes from Tolkien's books. Here is one, depicting Ulmo, King of the Sea and Tuor. Hope you enjoy it!
Ulmo, the King of the Sea and Water of Arda, and finally, Nienna the Weeper, the Lady of Mercy.

Quenta Silmarillion: Of Tuor and the Fall of Gondolin - Tuor and Ulmo
For Ulmo bore up Elwing out of the waves, and he gave her the likeness of a great white bird, and upon her breast there shone as a star the Silmaril, as she flew over the water to seek Eärendil her beloved.
#Silmarillion
Whatever kind of bird Ulmo turned Elwing into, it probably wasn't a goose. Otherwise the events of the Third Kinslaying would have likely gone a bit differently! https://t.co/t0IyFoIUTM
