Earth-4 is the Universe populated by characters from Charlton Comics. Watchmen was inspired by these characters and the current Earth-4 reflects the realism and political unrest of Watchmen. We meet Captain Atom, the Question, Peacemaker, Judomaster, Nightshade and Blue Beetle.

Okay the worst thing about Alan Moore as a writer ever....was he made it cool to NOT have sound effects for a while in comics because he decided to not use them in Watchmen. I want to thank Araki for making sure a generation likes them.

Chatting w/ ...it would be fucking AMAZING if Marvel adapted Marvels as a mini-series for Hulu. Get Damon Lindelof (obviously) to write & showrun, Joe Johnston, Brad Bird, & Patty Jenkins to direct. Honest to god it would be the next SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

After reading Doomsday Clock, I reread the Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt series from last year, which is a far more satisfying attempt to grapple with the legacy of Watchmen.
