I went into WTRC knowing that they were gonna combine 1 & 2 together & that major liberties would be taken with the characters & story because of it. That being said, I still enjoyed it for what it was: a fun, action/horror popcorn flick. 🍿

Even with it's faults is easily the best film yet. I hope fans support just so we get more faithful adaptions like this and less like Resident Milla.

Had a good time with the new movie. It takes some liberties, but it’s a pretty solid remix of the first two games. Lots of Easter Eggs, multiple seeds planted for future films, and a pretty fun cast.

Consistently, reviews for is that the tone, aesthetics, fan service, Easter eggs are there & that’s fantastic…but across the board character development suffers. I’m disappointed by that.

Tomorrow, I’ll see for myself & decide then.
