(All the old DblPAL screenshots from the mid-90's were captured on my A1200 or later A4000 .. Everything PAL and Picasso96 was captured from WinUAE. I'm all virtual-retro now.) 😮

I've been using an Amiga since.. ooooh. Well, I was onto the A1200 by the mid 90s. 👴 At some point I got into using the MagicWorkbench Icons. (The standard four colours.. plus another four?) So I've been keeping the good ones as I found them. 🤔 The cartoon icons were on Aminet.

My choice for best P&C is Darkseed, although I jump between this and Cruise for a Corpse, I love all things Alien and using H. R. Giger artwork as a basis for this game is awesome, it's also scary

The Amiga was great in the A500 days. Good in the A1200 days. And then it just continued downhill from there as Commodore didn't do enough to improve it, while PC's and Consoles continued to overtake and drive off into the distance. 🤔 Was fun while it lasted though. 😄

I mean, it was amazing they got it working on Amiga. It can be played from floppy-disk (and the Amiga was only 880k floppy-disks) on an A1200 with 14MHz CPU and 2MB RAM. But it wasn't well optimized, so was slow on the upper floors of big UFO's. But an amazing game regardless. 👍

NightBreed was overlooked on the maybe because of the film, but this game not the arcade game was a cross between It Came From the Desert and a miss mash of game ideas.
