The year of the three Emperors in an Achaemenid way. Within the span of one year (424-423 BCE) three Persian kings (Xerxes II, Sogdianus, Darius II) followed one another. A messy entanglement of Palace intrigues and familial feuds led up to that result.
Atusa or Atossa was Queen of the Persian Achaemenid Empire, the daughter of Cyrus, the Great and a half-sister of Cambyses II.
