When what to my flaming eyes should appear,
But a Japanese sleigh, and eight Scottish reindeer,

Gave dramatic lighting to the upcoming show;

Removed the flame decor, and unzipped my screen.

When outside the pit I o'erheard such a shatter!
I arose from my bed to see what was the matter.

And Aku, which is me, all safe in my keep,
Had just settled down for a long, burning sleep--

The children were captured, all trapped in their cells,
While visions of torture made their lives living hells.

The prisoners were hung on the tower with care,
In hopes that the Samurai soon would be there;

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the land,
Not a village left burning, just rubble and sand;

But I rose from the Pit to emphatically say—
"Happy Christmas, Samurai! I'll destroy you someday!"

Jack jumped into his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew, like a tomahawk missile:

And back on my screen I at long last did see,
The reindeer and Samurai were starting to flee.

With a message that read, "Aku, there is joy in good work",
"Merry Christmas to you", Good grief, what a jerk!

The tower, now barren, filled me with great dread,
The Samurai left behind just... presents instead?

The prisoners had been freed, by the reindeer themselves,
And I groaned when I saw that, in spite of myselves;

I quickly pursued him, but much to my dismay,
An ulterior plan had already been in play:

When all of a sudden he darted away,
So confused, the word "Huh?" was all I could say.

He jumped all about, tried to cut me in two,
And I morphed several times as our fight continued;

My eyes,—how they twinkled! The laser: such power,
Our battle raged on, for what felt like an hour;

He stood there some more, longer than most people would,
Then he crouched to the ground, and then he "jumped good"!

He stood there in silence, and we spoke not a word,
And with a twist of his hand he reached for his sword;
