Knotberken zie je niet vaak. Deze fraaie staan aan een zandpad in de Rooise Heide in Vincent van Gogh hield ook van knotbomen. Op ‘Herfstlandschap met vier bomen’, Nuenen 1985, staat rechts een knotberk.
