Finished my arborling memory for It's been a while since I've been more loose with watercolors! It was nice! I used too thick of a pen, but I couldn't find my thinner ones. Also added some color pencil on top! :D Anyway.. yeah have this! Original sketches too!

I really wanted to try making a arborling in a little outfit, and I've been wanting a character that made a nod to my half-Japanese heritage- so I based her loosely off of saotome costumes and made her a little fictional kamon!

their plant growth only developed as the thorns, the cape and small rose are from their mother plant. it's not made yet but they're gonna have a pet rosebreasted grosbeak familiar

I love transforming characters.. lol got this cute arborling in a trade (designer is Miizue) and I was like hot damn they would make an awesome rockabilly/greaser/etc. :3 Same markings and all, just a different style. (Assuming the purple is shadows and not markings)
