I found a fantasy bird I did in 2008 and decided to draw it again! Redoing some old art can be so much fun and so eye-opening!

Oh man, is a thing!

First is a piece from 2016, second is a piece from 2019, a three year gap in which I didn't do much in regards to studying.

The next two are my two most recent, a little over a year later, dedicating a few hours a day (at least) to studying.

I guess this counts as ? :D (2019 vs 2020). Started getting into digital painting more seriously last year and I might be getting somewhere

I didn't start painting seriously until college. In 2015 I was really into Metal Gear Solid and was so proud I could finally render a face that looked accurate. It took me 2 weeks working on it each day in class? The right one took me 2 hours.

2019 vs. 2020

More of a face shape, better eyes... more confident lips. While the right is just a sketch, you can see the difference already :D

I wanted to join this tag, as it's a good reminder of the hard work I have been putting in these past few years. I still have so many things to learn, but it's nice to see how my art changes and grows throughout the years.
