How heat resistant do your scales need to be to be able to survive in lava? Well, it makes sense for these dinos, as most of their body probably is made of molten rock (with the rest being the bones). Someone should ask them about it. Blabrrgr, blgjhg gllghhlg?

There's previous unused scenes with Blargg so it might be that Yoshi ate a fireball and spat it at Luigi causing him to be covered in ash. The Deleted Scenes starts after Luigi asking Baby Yoshi if hes hungry and would have him actually try to find something to give to Baby Yoshi
