My early impression tier list. B and up are ordered. S is OP. A is very good but have caveats. B is playable but needs specific things to work. C is just worse versions if S and A. D is borderline unplayable. There are nuances to my placements but this is what I think currently.

GEN II, but with the caveat that most of its armours failed to realise what you could/should do with the platform to look good. And it always gets my thanks for making Chief look like a beast again.
Gen III is pretty solid but it has too many unremarkable and oddly wide helmets.

the caveat of the kindle versions is that you can't zoom in on the pages like you can on ibooks, it's limited to fit to screen (except not really, see image kindle), which really sucks because we're visually impaired and need to zoom in a lot 🙃 (image ibooks)
