Shower thought: Why do we cook ba(bake)con, but bake coo(cook)kies?

Some protocetid artwork of mine for #WorldWhaleDay. I adore this strange group of pioneering, leggy whales.
Clockwise from top left: the extra-weird Makaracetus, Aegicetus, Maiacetus and calf, and a comparison of Rodhocetus and Georgiacetus. #paleoart #sciart #whaleontology
Once in a while I think about Makaracetus, the trunked whale. I still like my interpretation of it, inspired by desmans.

Was watching a recent vid regarding the evolutionary history of whales and was inspired to try doodling an anthro pakicetus design.

A wip of a Georgiacetus piece ,they had to start breaching at some point right?
Also looking for feedback in anatomy ,coloration, textures or whatever really to make it better
Pakicetus, a whale ancestor that was small, lived on the land near the shore, almost wolflike, with webbed feet and long snouts for digging around for food near water. They eventually went further out to sea and grew massively larger.
