On Sept 9th the Alita Army should mass tweet Cinemark & Regal Theaters & request a rerelease of Alita Battle Angel. They are currently rereleasing older movies & they would likely rerelease Alita into theaters. If Alita gets $200K in a rerelease, that would impress Disney a lot

Cinemark is using the new Alita poster on their website where they sell advance tickets, which seem to be selling very well. @doc_ido #GoWatchAlita
Deadline just reported that Cinemark is opening 5 more theaters near San Francisco this week, & that 85% of their theaters are open. I had used 75% & updated the theater count. It now looks like 1,167 theaters will show Alita at 9,389 screenings, for a $375K box office.

A private watch party is also an option.
It appears that Cinemark will have 14 showings of Alita on the 10/30 weekend, with AMC having just 1 a day, & Marcus & Harkins having 12 showings. A guess is that 27,000 Alita tickets will be sold, a box office of $136K. Also, Alita is on Cinemax tonight at 5:55PM. @doc_ido
Cinemark has tentatively scheduled Alita: Battle Angel for US theaters for Friday October 30th. None of the movies opening that week appear to be big budget movies, so the competition from other movies is not strong. The key thing is get the word out. @doc_ido

Cinemark is offering a Private Watch Party option for as little as $99 where you can pick a movie to show at a local Cinemark theater. It may be possible to get Alita: Battle Angel back into Cinemark theaters this month. #AlitaSequel @doc_ido
