the smaller one is Dunkleosteus, not sure how much the size comparisson holds up. Either way, while still having those armored jaws, they are much smaller and lack the cutting edge of Dunkleosteus, instead functioning to keep swarms of smaller fish in afaik.

These intro ilustrations basically summarize the difference in artstyle between the new Demon's Souls and the old one, the original had a way more etherial atmosphere all around and the designs were more elegant and not that much detailed at least in comparisson.
